Volunteer Sign-up Instructions
Jobs open at 9:00 p.m. the Sunday prior to the meet and close at 9:00 p.m. the Tuesday before the meet.
*Please note - parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, etc. may represent a family in gaining volunteer credits. We also welcome the help of older siblings. If you have a teen interested in volunteering, speak with the volunteer coordinator.
Instructions for Signing Up:
- Go to our team website: https://cymillmakosharks.swimtopia.com. Sign-in to your account.
- On the righthand side of the team homepage, there is a section titled 'Next Meet'. The upcoming meet is listed under that tab with a green box titled 'JOB SIGNUP'. Click the green box.
- Alternatively, click on the 'Meets' tab in the menu bar at the top of the homepage. A window will open with a list of our meets. Scroll down to find the current meet. To the right of the meet, there is a green ‘JOB SIGNUP’ box. Click on that box.
- Your name should appear on the next screen. If it doesn’t, you are most likely not signed in. Click the black box reading ‘Sign-up for Jobs.’
- A list of jobs will appear. To understand the requirements and responsibilities of each job, hold your mouse over the black ‘information’ circle. Click the box in front of the job you want to sign-up for.
- Click the black box 'Save Assignments' and you're done!
- Please sign-in with the volunteer coordinator during swimmer check-in at each meet (or on Friday for Friday shifts).
*Regardless of when you volunteer, we DO NOT want you to miss your swimmer. That is our priority! You may ask a board member or another parent to sit in for you while you watch your swimmer. Please do not miss watching your child.
**If for any reason you are unable to fulfill your assigned volunteer position, please notify the volunteer coordinator as soon as possible so a replacement can be found.
