CMMS 2026 Registration Guidelines (FAQ)

1. Registration Periods:
• Early Registration: February 12, 2026 (9:00 PM) – February 28, 2026 (8:00 PM)
• Regular Registration: March 1^st, 2026 (9:00pm)- April 12, 2026 (8:00pm)
• Late Registration: April 13, 2026 (9:00 AM) - April 30, 2026 (9:00 PM)
• Late registration incurs an additional $25 fee per swimmer
• No guaranteed spots after regular registration closes
2. In-Person Registration Events:
• Location: Cypress Mills Club House
• Dates: March 7, 2026, and March 28, 2026
• Online registration assistance will be available
3. Safety Evaluations:
• Required for all non-returning swimmers
• All dues must be paid before evaluation
• Swimmers who do not pass cannot join the Makos this season
• Full refund provided immediately if swimmer does not pass
4. Non-Resident Fees:
• $65 out-of-residence fee per family (not per swimmer)
5. NWAL Waivers:
• Required for non-residents living in communities with NWAL Swim Teams
• Must speak to Team Rep during in-person registration
• Submission deadline: April 20, 2026
• New swimmers may complete Safety Evaluation before waiver approval if dues are fully paid.
• Waivers must be approved before joining regular practice
6. Payment Options:
• Online: Credit card via Stripe, Venmo
• In-person only: Check, cash, money order (accepted only at In-Person Registrations or Parent Meeting)
• Parents encouraged to pay all dues, fees, and volunteer deposits simultaneously
7. Late Registration Payments:
• Must be paid online via credit card using Stripe
• $500 hold placed on credit card for volunteer deposit
• Full deposit is released at season end if volunteer requirements are met
• No exceptions
8. Registration Status:
• Swimmers remain in "pending" status until all fees, dues, and deposits are received
• Late fees apply after April 12 for incomplete registrations
• No discount rates or tuition waivers available after deadline April 30th. 
9. Status Notification:
• Email notification from CMMS Board Member after second in-person registration
10. NWAL Waiver Exception:
• No late fees for swimmers in pending status awaiting NWAL Waiver Approval after April 12
• All dues still must be paid and deposits received to secure a spot on the team. 
11. Incomplete Registrations:
• Swimmers with incomplete registrations will not be permitted to swim
• Incomplete Applications after April 12 will will be charged late fees and are no longer eligible for discounts/ tuition waivers.  
12. Tuition Waiver Eligibility (16+ age swimmers):
• Must attend 3 out of 5 dual swim meets
• Must attend Divisional swim meet
• Family must fulfill volunteer requirements and provide volunteer deposit
13. Refund Policy:
• Full tuition refund: on or before April 17, 2026
• Partial tuition refund: before or by April 30th, 2026
• No refunds after May 1st 2026.
