Makos!

The Sprint Sizzler Invitational is this weekend, Sunday June 4 - Monday June 5 and we can’t wait to see you all there! Please read this email thoroughly and take note of all reminders so we can have great days!

**If your swimmer wakes up sick and is unable to attend the meet, please send a message to Coach Emi Davenport in the Remind app so we can adjust our relay teams**

LOCATION: Cy Fair ISD Natatorium - 12550 Windfern Rd, Houston, TX 77064

CHECK IN: Sunday 10:50 AM with Adrienne Exum

Monday 3:50 PM with Adrienne Exum

WARM UP: Sunday 11:20 AM East Pool Lanes 5, 6, & 7

Monday 4:20 PM East Pool Lanes 5, 6, & 7

MEET START TIME: Sunday 12:00 PM

 Monday 5:00 PM

VOLUNTEERS:

• CyMill is assigned a timer role for 2 lanes throughout the meet. We’ve split the shifts into 1 hr assignments. Please arrive at the pool 5 minutes prior to your assigned timing shift. Do not leave until your Mako timing replacement arrives.
• All timers, regardless of your timing slot, must report to the timer/scribe meeting that occurs ~15 min before the start of the meet. They will announce this on meet day.
• Please go to the job sign-up attached to the Sprint Sizzler meet on the Mako website to assign yourself to a timing position. Be sure to consider the events your swimmer is swimming and view the meet timeline to choose a time that best suits your swim schedule Sunday or Monday.

SET UP:

• Spectator bleacher indoor seating is for observation only. There is NO SETUP in the stands.
• Team set up is outdoors, in the grass on the east side of the NAT (easiest access to viewing/ready bench from here). Some areas are shaded, some are not. It's nice to have a tent, tarp, folding chairs, coolers for food and drinks, sunscreen, bug spray and activities for the kids to do while waiting for events - games, markers, etc.
• No generators on the grass.
• No set up in the circle drive – way.
• Look for other Makos so we can set up together!

READY BENCH:

• Swimmers must go to the Ready Bench.
• The ready bench will be large & busy, please ensure your swimmers arrive at the Ready Bench when their event is called, are paying attention to the volunteers & following directions on where to sit & walk( ESPECIALLY for Relays).
• Unlike dual meets there will not be anyone searching for swimmers who fail to show up to the ready bench.

CONCESSIONS:

• Concessions will be available.

MERCHANDISE:

• A custom Sprint Sizzler Invitational Meet shirt will be on sale at the meet as well as swim apparel and swim gear. Small size shirts go fast, so if you plan to buy, do it early.

POOL POLICES:

• Only swimmers, coaches, officials, and ready bench volunteers are allowed in the ready bench area
• No family members allowed on deck; only coaches, officials, swimmers, and lane timers are allowed on the pool deck
• NO flash photography at the start of a race
