The Pentathlon will be on Sunday, June 12! This is an exciting meet that challenges our swimmers in fast races building up to the IM (individual medley). Swimmers will swim freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and the butterfly in IM order: butterfly, back, breast, free and finish the meet with the IM.

***Please note that payment for Pentathlon is due at time of entry. Swimmers WILL NOT be entered into the meet if payment has not been received by the deadline, Saturday June 4th at 4:00pm.***

Pentathlon will be held at Cy-Springs High School which is an indoor pool with indoor air conditioned set up for all.

NOTE: These times are a composite of all 5 events (FLY+BACK+BREAST+FREE+IM = composite time) except for 8 & Under group which does not include IM time (FLY+BACK+BREAST+FREE = composite time). NT is not allowed. We encourage the young swimmers to get IM time from Time Trials. All individual times must be submitted for seeding purposes per NWAL. Time Trials times are accepted; however, the fastest meet time will take priority if it is available.

Please look over your swimmers’ times to be sure they are qualifying times. It is the swimmers responsibility to know if they are qualified. This year, Pentathlon is working extra hard to see that all composite times submitted, actually fall within the time standards.

Refund Policy: there will be NO refunds.

Cost: $40. Payments can be made with cash, check (payable to CMMS), or Venmo (@makosharks). If using Venmo please include family last name, swimmer(s) name, and the event(s) your swimmer(s) will be participating in.

Meet Entry: complete entry as you would for any meet. You must sign up for all five races!

Time and Date: Sunday, June 12, 2022

Age Groups 7 & Under, 8, 9 & 10’s Morning Session Warm-Up at 7:00 AM – Session starts at 8:30 AM

Age Group 11 and Up- scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM (or 1 1/2 hours after the conclusion of Morning Session). Warm-Up will begin immediately following the conclusion of the AM session.

Award presentation immediately following each session
