Good evening Mako Families,

We had a great turn out today for in-person registration. We want to welcome all our new Mako Families and are excited to see our returning families! We understand there were some glitches on the Makos registration web page this afternoon, but that has been resolved! Registration will remain open for couple more weeks for anyone who was having difficulties!

There are a few important announcements, first, our next event is our Meet/Greet-Spirit Night on April 5^th at The Burger Ranch. We encourage all families to attend Spirit Night because it is an opportunity to meet other Makos, the coaches, board members and to raise money for the Swim Team! 10% percent of every meal and beverage order will be donated back to the Makos swim team. Our fundraising goal this season is to raise enough money for new Swim Lane Lines. Lane Lines are very pricey so the more money we can raise the better!

Second, please remember, April 10^th is our Parent Meeting at the Cypress Mills Rec Center from 4-6pm. Our Head Coach, Emi Strautman Davenport and Board Members will be there to discuss this season’s expectations, swim meets, invitational meets, volunteering, events and practices. So please plan on attending.

Last, we wanted to let you know about sponsorship opportunities with the Makos! If you own a business, or work for a business that would be interested in getting some great advertising and exposure in the Cypress community for a very affordable price, the Makos are welcoming new corporate sponsors! The Deadline for sponsoring is 4/15/22 so please let us know ASAP! Each family will be given a $10 voucher for food concessions during one home meet for each sponsor you are able to find for the Makos!
