    The Red, White and Blue Invitational is this weekend, June 25-27th, and we can’t wait to see you all there! Please read this email thoroughly and take note of all reminders so we can have a great day on Sunday.

    **If your swimmer wakes up sick and is unable to attend the meet, please send a message to Coach Jenny Snyder in the Remind app so we can adjust our relay teams**

    PLEASE NOTE: Due to the size of this meet, RWB has broken out both Saturday and Sunday into two (2) sessions. Friday remains combined. This will make the timeline for each session not exceed 4 hours. SEE TIMELINE ATTACHED.

    DATES and START TIME:

    • Friday June 25: 11 & Over 100 Free and 13 & Over 100 IM
      • 6:00 PM - 8:25 PM (estimated)
    • Saturday June 26: 11& Over
      • Session 1: Girls 11 & Over
        • 8:30 AM - 12:21 PM (estimated)
      • Session 2: Boys 11 & Over
        • 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM (estimated)
    • Sunday June 27: 10&Under
      • Session 1: Girls 10 & Under
        • 8:30 AM - 11:25 PM (estimated)
      • Session 2: Boys 10 & Under (estimated)
        • 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM (estimated)

    CHECK IN:

    • Friday: 30 minutes prior to warm up with Adrienne Exum
    • Saturday: 30 minutes prior to warm up with Adrienne Exum
    • Sunday: 30 minutes prior to warm up with Destiny Legare

    WARM UP:

    • Friday: TBD
    • Saturday: TBD
    • Sunday: TBD

    VOLUNTEERS:

    • CyMill will be assigned timing shift(s) TBD. Please arrive at the pool during the last few heats of the event preceding your assigned timing event. Do not leave until your Mako timing replacement arrives.
    • Sign-up will be online as usual through the Mako website

    DROP-OFF:

    • Please look at the map diagram. Drop-off is at the north end of our pool. This allows for cars to park and to drop off without creating a long line that can back up onto Spring Cypress. If you drop off where designated, this won't happen.

    PARKING:

    • Please follow the parking signs and read the traffic flow map attached to this email. People are asked to park only in the designated areas that are marked for parking. All driveways must be kept clear at all times.

    SET UP:

    • The entire pool deck is off limits at ALL TIMES for set up.
    • Spectator bleacher seating is for observation only. There is NO SETUP in the stands. All spectators are asked to stay in the bleachers only when watching their swimmer and to then go back to their set‐up area in between events.
    • Swimmers and their families may set up around the 7-acre property where specific set-up areas are marked.
    • You may leave your tent overnight - just make sure to stake and lower it at the end of the day so it doesn’t blow away.
    • Some areas are shaded, some are not. It's nice to have a tent, tarp, folding chairs, coolers for food and drinks, sunscreen, bug spray and activities for the kids to do while waiting for events - games, markers, etc.
    • No generators on the grass.
    • No tents allowed in the parking area.
    • No glass containers, tobacco, or alcoholic beverages are allowed within the FAC area including the parking lot area.
    • Look for other Makos so we can set up together!

    READY BENCH:

    • Swimmers must go to the Ready Bench.
    • The ready bench will be large & busy, please ensure your swimmers arrive at the Ready Bench when their event is called, are paying attention to the volunteers & following directions on where to sit & walk 
    • 10&Under Relays must be escorted by team volunteer to ensure they make it to ready bench
    • Unlike dual meets there will not be anyone searching for swimmers who fail to show up to the ready bench.

    CONCESSIONS:

    • Food Trucks will be on site.

    MERCHANDISE:

    • A custom Red, White and Blue Invitational Meet shirt will be on sale at the meet as well as swim apparel and swim gear. Small size shirts go fast, so if you plan to buy, do it early.

    POOL POLICES:

    • Only swimmers, coaches, officials, and ready bench volunteers are allowed in the ready bench area
    • No family members allowed on deck; only coaches, officials, swimmers, and lane timers are allowed on the pool deck
    • Masks are not required
    • NO flash photography at the start of a race

    SWIMTOPIA- RED WHITE & BLUE PAGE: Many of the documents on the Fleet website will be here also. However, the Swimtopia page will allow you to follow the real-time results and what heat and lane is in the water. We will also have virtual scoreboard monitors displayed throughout the facility to help you track results and who is in the water.

    OFFICIALS' SIGN-UP PAGE: This is a google form. Officials will fill out this form and submit. Our meet referees are Olen Walton ([email protected]) and Kipp Degutis ([email protected]). There will be an Officials' meeting one (1) hours before the start of each session.
