This Saturday is our first meet of the season for our 11 & Up swimmers. Since the Cypress Mill bathroom renovation is not complete, Jersey Village has graciously allowed us to host the meet at their pool, which means the Makos are in charge of set-up, concessions, and tear down after the meet.

We want to honor the generosity of Jersey Village by running a great meet. We need all families who have a participating swimmer to volunteer. Sign-ups are currently open. We still need help with set-up on Friday evening, swimmer check-in on Saturday morning, as well as a couple of areas in concessions. Thank you so much for your willingness to serve!

Important information pertaining to this meet:

**If your swimmer wakes up sick and is unable to attend the meet, please send a message to Coach Jenny Snyder in the Remind app so we can adjust our relay teams.**

**Rain is forecasted for Saturday. Delays and meet updates will be posted via the Remind app.**

• Parking
  • Street parking on Jersey Drive and Shanghai Drive - only on one side of the street
  • No parking on Equador Street
  • Do not block mailboxes
  • Overflow parking at Post Elementary and Jersey Village HS

• Swimmers
  • Check-in: 6:45 at the Mako check-in table by the splash pad to get arms marked with events and to check in for relays
  • Warm-up: 7:15 - 7:45
  • What to Bring: swimsuit, cap, goggles, towel, extra towels for the expected rainy weather, Mako t-shirt, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, snacks

• Volunteers
  • Check-in: 6:45 at the Mako check-in table (Volunteers doing swimmer check-in should arrive at 6:30.)
  • Officials Meeting: 8:00
  • Timer/Scribe/Ready Bench Meeting: 8:15

• Tent Set-up
  • Mako area is on the south side of the pool, between the pool and Post Elementary
  • No set-up under the Pavilion or within the fenced area of the pool
  • It's nice to have a tent, tarp, folding chairs, coolers for food and drinks, and activities for the kids to do while waiting for events - games, markers, etc. If you don't have a tent, Mako families are willing to share :-)

• Concessions
  • Payment: cash and Venmo
  • Breakfast - donuts, kolaches, breakfast tacos, coffee
  • Lunch - pizza
  • Assortment of drinks, snacks and candy

• Pool Policies
  • Only swimmers, coaches, officials and ready bench volunteers are allowed in the ready bench area
  • No family members allowed on deck
  • Masks are not required
