This Saturday is our first meet of the season for our 10 & Under swimmers. We are all so excited to see our little competitors in the water for the first time! The Jersey Village Stars are hosting this meet.

Important information pertaining to this meet:

**If your swimmer wakes up sick and is unable to attend the meet, please send a message to Coach Emi Strautman in the Remind app so we can adjust our relay teams.**

• Pool Address
  • 7804 Equador Street, Jersey Village, Texas 77040
• Parking
  • Street parking on Jersey Drive and Shanghai Drive - only on one side of the street
  • No parking on Equador Street
  • Do not block mailboxes
  • Overflow parking at Post Elementary and Jersey Village HS

• Swimmers
  • Check-in: 7:00 at the Mako check-in table to get arms marked with events and check in for relays
  • Warm-up: 7:45 - 8:15
  • What to Bring: swimsuit, cap, goggles, towel, Mako t-shirt, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, snacks

• Volunteers
  • Check-in: 7:00 at the Mako check-in table (Volunteers doing swimmer check-in should arrive at 6:45.)
  • Officials Meeting: 8:00
  • Timer/Scribe/Ready Bench Meeting: 8:15

• Tent Set-up
  • Mako area is on the south side of the pool, along the hill, between the pool and the playground
  • No set-up under the Pavilion or within the fenced area of the pool
  • It's nice to have a tent, tarp, folding chairs, coolers for food and drinks, and activities for the kids to do while waiting for events - games, toys, markers, etc. If you don't have a tent, Mako families are willing to share :-)

• Concessions
  • Full concessions available for breakfast and lunch

• JV Pool Policies
  • Only swimmers, coaches, officials and ready bench volunteers are allowed in the ready bench area.
  • Masks are recommended but not required in the pool area. JV will not force anyone to wear a mask.
  • If a swimmer chooses to wear a mask to the dive block, they must have a parent accompany them to collect the mask and carry it to the other side of the pool.
