    Volunteer Sign-Up for Time Trials

We're gearing up for our first dual meet, so we need to get times for all of our swimmers! These trial times will seed our swimmers into heats, which creates efficiency at meets.

During normal practice times Friday (May 7), Monday (May 10), and Tuesday (May11), we need volunteers to help time our swimmers and record their times. We'll provide stopwatches and record sheets for each timer-scribe. If you can press a button and write numbers, then you can do this job :-)!

The instructions below detail exactly how to sign-up for jobs. Please be at the pool during your assigned shift and the coaches/board members will provide direction on what to do. We appreciate you so much!

    1. Go to our team website: https://cymillmakosharks.swimtopia.com. Sign-in to your account.
    2. Click on the tab that says ‘Meets.’ Alternatively, you can look under the ‘Upcoming Events’ tab on the righthand side of the team homepage.
    3. Look for the Time Trials events. There are three. One each for Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Choose the day that you are available to volunteer and click the green ‘JOB SIGNUP’ box.
    4. Your name should appear on the next screen. If it doesn’t, you are most likely not signed in. (Sign in to SwimTopia at the top right corner of the website using the email address you registered with.) Click the black box reading ‘Sign-up for Jobs.’
    5. A list of jobs will appear. They are all the same except for the time they occur. Click the box in front of the job you want to sign-up for. (Notice that each job will tell you how many positions are available and how many are filled.)

*You will use this same process when we sign-up for positions at our dual meets.

We are incredibly grateful for your help and thrilled to get on deck and experience the joy of all that swim offers to our children and families! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions. I am usually present at most all of the practices. You can also reach me through email or Remind.

    Gratefully,

    Adrienne Exum
