Good Morning Makos Families!

We are very excited about our 2020 Swim Summer League Season and we are hoping all of you will be back for another great summer season! The Makos Board is thrilled to announce our new Head Coach Ollie Bernal! We are also pleased to welcome back Coach Emi Strautman and Coach Kylie Snyder! We are equally excited to announce that Coach Erin Strautman will be joining our coaching team this season too!

Our online registration is now OPEN! Remember, the Makos is an “open” team, so if you don’t have a swim team in your neighborhood you may swim for the Makos. Invite friends to join us for a great summer swim season!

We are posting information to the Makos website so check back there frequently for the latest news and events, but here are a few important dates coming up soon so mark your calendar!

• Online Registration is open NOW! (If you pay via Venmo for your registration fees a post dated volunteer check is still required to be collected.)
• February 29: Registration at Makos rec center 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• March 28: Registration at Makos rec center 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• April 13: Willie’s Spirit Night (meet and greet with Coaches and Board)
• We will be changing our suit style this season. D & J Sports will have sample suits at the March 28 registration to fit and order.

  We are looking to fill some key roles for the 2020 season. We can’t have a swim team without our great volunteers!

• Officials

***Serving in the above positions will satisfy your volunteer hours for the season.
